QuoteCraft ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information when you use the QuoteCraft mobile application ("App") and website at getquotecraft.com ("Website").

1. Data We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address from your Google, Apple, or email sign-in. This is required for authentication and account identification.

Company Profile

You may optionally provide your company name, phone number, address, and company logo. This information appears on your generated quote PDFs.

Client Data

You enter your clients' names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses. This is your business data — you control what you enter. We store it to enable quote delivery and client management.

Quotes & Business Content

Quotes (titles, line items, notes, terms and conditions), pricebook items (service names, descriptions, prices), and site photos (up to 5 per quote) are user-generated business content. We store this to provide the Service.

Audio Recordings

The voice-to-quote feature temporarily captures audio on your device, sends it to Fireworks.ai for speech-to-text transcription, and immediately discards the audio. Audio is not stored permanently by us or by Fireworks.ai.

Subscription & Purchase Data

We store your subscription status (active or expired), expiration date, and platform (iOS or Android). All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google — we never see or store your credit card, bank account, or payment method details.

Device & Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics (screen views, feature usage events) via PostHog. We collect crash reports and performance data via Sentry. Both services receive your user ID and device identifiers for debugging and product improvement.

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, we store your Expo push token to deliver notifications about quote status updates.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide the Service: Store and display your quotes, clients, and pricebook. Generate and deliver PDF quotes via email.
• Authentication: Verify your identity and manage your account.
• Subscription management: Track your subscription status to enable or restrict features.
• Push notifications: Notify you when clients view, accept, or decline quotes.
• Product improvement: Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve features (PostHog).
• Bug fixes: Diagnose and fix crashes and performance issues (Sentry).
• Customer support: Respond to your in-app support messages.

We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell your data, and do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with these services solely to provide the App:

Each service operates under their own privacy policy. We select services with strong privacy practices and do not share data beyond what is necessary for their specific function.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Convex's infrastructure in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Offline data is cached locally on your device using AsyncStorage and syncs securely when connectivity is restored.

5. Data Retention

• Your content: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Audio recordings: Discarded immediately after transcription. Not stored.
• Analytics data: Retained per PostHog settings (default 12 months).
• Crash data: Retained per Sentry settings (default 90 days).
• Subscription data: RevenueCat retains purchase history per their policy.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: View all your content within the App.
• Delete your account: Request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@getquotecraft.com.
• Export your data: Your quotes are available as downloadable PDFs.
• Opt out of analytics: Contact us to disable analytics tracking for your account.
• Manage notifications: Disable push notifications in your device settings.

Upon account deletion, all your data — profile, quotes, clients, pricebook, photos, and messages — will be permanently removed from our systems. Note that active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple or Google.

7. Children's Privacy

QuoteCraft is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights:

• Right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used
• Right to delete your personal information
• Right to opt-out of the "sale" of personal information — we do not sell your data
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

9. International Users

QuoteCraft is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision.
